OVERVIEW
We partnered with Matobo Heritage Furnitures, a manufacturer renowned for high-end, solid teak office and home furniture. While their craftsmanship is world-class, their digital presence has been non-existent. We are developing a solution that allows them to showcase their work to the Zimbabwean diaspora and local corporate procurement officers through a sophisticated digital showroom.
CHALLENGE
The primary hurdle is the "bespoke" nature of the business. Every piece of furniture can be customized by wood type, finish, and size. A standard online shop is insufficient; the client needs a system that can handle complex inquiries while showcasing intricate woodwork details all while remaining fast for users on limited mobile data connections.
RESULT
We are building a high-performance digital showroom with a custom "Request a Quote" engine tailored for bespoke orders. To ensure accessibility, we are implementing advanced image optimization so that high-res galleries load instantly on any device. The launch is expected to drive a 40% growth in international inquiries, establishing the website as their primary lead-generation tool for corporate boardroom fit-outs across the region.
"Working with Kwakha Labs is helping us transition from a local workshop to a regional brand. Their ability to translate our physical craftsmanship into a digital experience has been impressive."
