Afro-centric Apparel
RESULT
70% growth in brand trust
OVERVIEW
We partnered with Runako Origin, a micro-scale apparel startup specializing in handcrafted African print garments for men and women. When we began, the business operated entirely offline with no brand identity, logo, or digital footprint. Our goal was to build a professional foundation from the ground up, transitioning them from an anonymous local tailor to a recognized boutique brand through a complete branding overhaul and a performance-driven e-commerce ecosystem.
CHALLENGE
The primary hurdle was a total lack of brand infrastructure. Without a logo, a cohesive visual style, or even a social media presence, They struggled to build trust with customers outside their immediate neighborhood. As a very small operation, they lacked the tools to showcase their vibrant male and female collections to a wider audience. They needed a "zero-to-one" branding solution that validated their craftsmanship while remaining fast and accessible for mobile users on limited data.
RESULT
We took their brand from zero digital visibility to a fully automated e-commerce engine. The platform now acts as a professional anchor, allowing the small team to scale beyond local foot traffic and reach customers across Zimbabwe with a seamless, high-impact first impression.
"I never thought my small workshop could look this professional. Kwakha Labs built us a brand that makes our customers trust us instantly."
Chiedza, Lead Tailor
